At Salem, we see our youth as integral members of our church family. We have committed adult volunteers to nurture them in their journey of faith. We offer different opportunities for our youth to gather together for support, encouragement, and fun! Teens in Grades 7-8 take part in a 2-year Confirmation class that covers the foundations of our faith in Christ. One year is devoted to the study of the Old Testament and the other year is focused on the New Testament. In addition to the programs listed below, our Youth take part in helping with parts of our Worship service and in community outreach events.
Dive Deep is for youth, Grades 4-6, during the Worship hour.
Immerse is for our high school youth. If they choose, they may join an Adult Leader, during Worship, to discuss the sermon text in the context of their lives.
Hangout Haven follows the Region 12 school calendar. Youth, grades 6-12, are welcome to come. A Release form is required. If the student comes by bus, the student’s parent must email the Transportation Form to AllStar bus.
Soul Talk & Supper meets twice a month. A healthy, home-cooked dinner is provided. The time together includes a meal, games/recreation, and a devotion. For Students, Grades 6-12
